My great-grandfather is Ruben (or Reuben) Vernon Sweatt. He was born 5/27/1899 in Georgia and died 4/16/1945 in Georgia.
I have been unable to locate information regarding his parents and siblings. I have also been told that one of his maternal ancestors had an illegitimate child; therefore, the name of the mother was passed on instead of the father's, thus making this a difficult journey.
If you have any information, please advise!
