Margaret, in your Stone Family research have you ever ran across a Wiley Stone who shows up on a GA census of 1840-and 1850 census as being born in SC 1803? He is married to a Candas Buckner born NC, the state we feel was where he spent his early years, perhaps was an orphan from his earliest days, in Person, NC. Census records do confirm they came from SC to GA, left GA in 1861, Civil War years in AL, then moved to AR, and their descendants (including me) toward and to CA and OR.
