I've run across some trees on another site that have some questionable information and was wondering if someone can straighten me out.
My great grandfather is Marcus D. Stone (1856-1937) and I'm trying to add all his children in on my tree. Now, most of them were still alive when I was a small child so I met them at least once and I know their names but.... 2 names keep popping up on these other trees and I don't know who they are.
The first one is Quinton, whose birthdate I have seen listed as being anywhere from 1878 to 1884. I assume if he existed that his mother was Sallie F. Gilmore. He doesn't show up in the "History of the Stones" that Annie Maye Stone Robinson put together.
On some notes written by my mother, under the children, it states Question then a scribble then N. O. Dulon, is this actually part of Quentin's name or is this someone else entirely.
The second name I have seen is Minnie, with no birthdate. I can't find a Minnie anywhere. There is a Monnie, whose full name was Leon Montana.
Anyone have any clues? Thanks!
