Steed family, Hill City, Kansas (or close).

This is likely a long shot as I've been unable to find out anything about this.

I am looking for information on my grandfather who was born in or near Hill City, Kansas. He was born in 1889 and his name was Charlie Ernest Steed. His father was William (birth and death dates unknown) and his mother was Annie Christine (Hanson) Steed (birth and death dates unknown). I believe Annie might have died in Lawrence, Kansas.

Charlie had siblings, some were Arthur, George (who moved to Seattle, Washington and lived and died there), Sophie, Elsie, Jessica, May and Alice.

This family was in the Hill City Kansas area from probably about the late 1800's, maybe 1880 or so or even longer, and through the 1940's or 1950's. My grandfather moved to Louisiana in the 1920's or 1930's I believe.

Any information appreciated.
