I am looking for information about the family of Effie Steed Ferree, my great grandmother. Her father was Benjamin Franklin Steed (1831 - 1899), and she and her sister Mami were the children of his second wife whose last name was Hill, I think.
Effie Steed married George Henry Ferree, and they raised three children in Asheboro: Hazel Ferree Hodgin, George Willard Ferree, and Effie Jean Ferree Pendergrass.
Any information will be appreciated!
