Hello fellow Steeds,
I am a person who married a Steed living in southern ontario. My hausband is trying to locate his family. Here is the information we have, any more would be greatly apprieciated.
My father-in-law was named Arthur William Steed. He came to Canada from England during World War 1.He came with his brother and they were sent to different farms and seperated. My father-in-law was sent to Prince Wdward County, Ontario.
My mother-in-law was Lillian Rosetta Routley.
We think his mother was a single mother, reason unknown, and that is why she sendt the boys to Canada. We also think they lived in the London area but I am not positive.
If you have any other info. we would love to hear from you.
