I'm sorry that you cannot find the person you are looking for. My Kate Butz Steed is my grandmother and she is of german descent. My grandfather is Engoish. I do not know a Don Allen Steed or a Mario anyone.
A lot of people have been mistreated one way or another in their lifetime. If you hate this person as much as you say then you may be better off not even trying to communicate with him/them.
My Steeds are from Tyler County Vest Virginia in the 1830s and I am trying to find them further back than that.My grandfather George Steed led the singing in the Church for 25 years and he died in 1950.
I hope that you do not harbor your hatred for your father ? very long for it sometimes only hurts those who have such feelings. I do realize that it is hard to love someone like that but maybe when yu have children of your own you will change your feelings a little.
You will then have an opportunity to see that you don't raise your children like you apparently were raised.
