Brenda L. Stacy Mullins, 64, of Mt. Carmel, Hawkins Co TN,
went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 7,
2009, at her residence.
Brenda was born in Kingsport, Sullivan Co TN, and had
been a resident of Mt. Carmel most of her life.
She retired from Masseys Cleaners as a dry cleaner
technician after 36 years of service. Brenda was a member
of New Life Baptist Church. She was a loving wife and
mother, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and
great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bonnie
Hall Stacy; two brothers, Jimmie Stacy and Larry Stacy;
and one sister, Betty Jones.
She is survived by her loving husband and care giver of 44
years, Harold Mullins, Sr. of the home; three daughters,
Lisa Ann Mullins of Shady Valley, TN, Tammy Hyatt of
Church Hill, TN, and Kim Yates and husband Greg of Mt.
Carmel, TN; one son, William Harold Mulins, Jr. and wife
Audrey of Mt. Carmel, TN; six grandchildren, Tabatha,
Sarah, Megan, Dylan, Austin, and Emily; three great grand-
children, Cheyenne, Alexa, and Kimberly; two sisters,
Linda Dykes and husband Tommy of Rogersville, TN, and
Billie Stacy of Mt. Carmel, TN; one brother, Harry Stacy
and wife Charlene of Mt. Carmel, TN; several nieces and
nephews; and great nieces and great nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., on
Friday, October 9, 2009, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home,
Church Hill, TN.
Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m., in the funeral
home chapel with Rev. Andy Sensabaugh and Rev. Harold
Shoemaker officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday,
October 10, 2009, at Church Hill Memory Gardens, Church
Hill, TN. Those who wish to attend are asked to meet at
the cemetery at 9:55 am. Pallbearers will be Robert
Mullins, Junior Mullins, Greg Yates, Dylan Yates, Kevin
Stacy, Bobby Mullins, and Lynn Dykes.
Memorial made be made to the St. Jude's Children's
Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill is serving the
Mullins family.
