Barbara Mae McGuire Stacy, 65, of Oak Ridge, passed away
at Methodist Medical Center on October 31, 2008. She was
born in Middletown, Ohio on September 19, 1943 to parents,
Victor and Bertha McGuire.
Barbara retired from Oak Ridge School System as a
cafeteria worker. She attended Calvary Baptist Church,
1984 she was bowling champ, and was an active bowler until
3 years ago.
Survivors include, husband, David Stacy, Oak Ridge, TN;
daughters, Donna Gray and husband, Ron, Oak Ridge, TN;
Rhonda Nolan and husband, Terry, Seattle, WA; brothers,
Victor and Donald McGuire, Middletown, OH; sister, Patty
Lord and husband, Randy, Villa Rica, GA; grandchildren,
Stacie Nolan, Tanner, Hunter, Holly, and Haley Gray, and
several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held in the chapel of
Weatherford Mortuary on Tuesday, November 4, 2008, 1 p.m.
with Dr. Steve McDonald officiating.
Interment will be at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Memorials
may be in the form of donations to SARGE animal rescue
foundation. The family will receive friends tonight from
6 to 8 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary. An online guest book
