Spc. Joseph W. Stacy, 20, passed away Thursday, May 29,
2008, while serving his country in U.S Army, 82nd Airborne
Special Operations Unit, Fort Bragg, NC.
Joseph was preceded in death by, one cousin, Joshua
Quentin Stacy.
Survivors include: his wife, Victoria Stacy of Fort Bragg,
NC; parents, Aaron and Mary Stacy of Ewing, VA; one son,
Andrew Stacy of Fort Bragg, NC; two brothers, Spc. Eric W.
Stacy and wife Elizabeth of Fort Lewis, WA, and Jonathan R.
Stacy of Ewing, VA; father and Mother-in-law, Ward and
Patsy Flora; paternal grandparents, Anderson and Betty
Charlene Stacy of Ewing, VA; maternal grandparents, Reese
and Beverly Cope of Nashville, TN; three uncles, Steve
Cope and wife Leigh Ann of Mt. Juliet, TN, Timothy Stacy
and wife Barbara of SC, and LT. Anthony Stacy USN and wife
Lynn of IN; cousins, Katie Cope, 1st Sgt Andy Stacy U.S.
Army, Krysta Stacy, Special Operations Second Class U.S.
Navy, Alex Stacy, Zach Stacy, Jacob Stacy, Rebecca Stacy,
Holly Stacy, and Bobby Stacy.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday,
June 6, 2008, in the Arney-Mullins Funeral Home in Rose
Hill, VA.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon at the
Church of The Brethren in Ewing, Virginia on Saturday,
June 7, 2008, with the Rev. Frank B. Turner Jr. officiating.
Military graveside Rites will follow in the Jones Cemetery
in Ewing, VA.
