Felix S. Stacy born 1885 in KY and Maryann Williams born in 1887 in PA, were my G-Grandparents. I just recently found my grandmother's real name. I only knew her as, "Maw" and only heard he referred to as, "Maw Stacy". It was also spelled, "Stacey", by some. Not sure the spelling of her first name. I found it on a census as Annie. On another document it's Mary Ann.
We lived on Puckett's Creek which turns into Ely's Creek, Pennington Gap, Lee County, Virginia in the 1950's.
They had the following children: Lela Mae abt 1908; Molly LaVenus 12 Feb 1910-4 Oct 1983; Fred 1913; Carrie 1916; Bulah 1918; Rachel 13 Nov 1920-15 Feb 2003; Lucile 1922; Hobert 1925; Herbert 1928; Joann 1931. all their children were born in Virginia except for Bulah and Lucile who were born in Kentucky.
My Grandma was the above, Mollie LaVenus, she married John Andrew Burgin/Burgan. They had 2 children; Gladys Marie Aug 1928 and my mother, Della Mae Oct 1, 1930.
John andrew Burgan died in 1931 and my grandma, Mollie later married John Carter and had; Philip 1944, Faye 9/14/1946 and Mary 2/10/1949.
I would greatly appreciate any info on any of the above.
