I am trying to track down a Sarah/Sally Stacy who married Humphrey Palmer in Guilford, VT in 1817. She lived in Allegany County, NY for most of her married life and died in Montcalm Co., MI on 26 Mar 1873 at age 82. She said she was born in VT on various census docs--probably born in 1791.
I see there are several Stacy's in Windham Co. including:
Vital Records of Vermont lists "Sally Stacy" born on 22 Feb 1791 in Halifax, Windham Co., Vermont; father:
"Hymphus Stacy," mother: "Martha"
Other children of above who are listed in Vital Records:
Humfray 15 Jun 1785
Leus 25 Mar 1787
Susana 8 Feb 1789
Anyone know anything about this family? or are there other Stacy's in Windham Co. that may have had a daughter named Sarah/Sally about 1791?
Thanks for any and all help in tracking down this family!
I have more info on Sarah and her family with Humphrey Palmer.
