Georgia (Wright) Spiers Bible

[The following was typed by me, Bruce King, on 17 Nov 2000 and 11 Dec 2000 exactly as written from notes prepared on a typewriter by Gene Edward Spiers and in the possession of Alice Spiers O'Connell. No typos or other errors from the original have been corrected or altered. The original type is blurry and nearly illegible in places, and becomes illegible in places when photocopied. Such difficulty in reading the original type has led to what I believe to be a few errors in the book, "The Spiers Family Coast to Coast in USA," by Emma L. Erickson. This book was written with the use of Gene Edward Spiers' notes. I told Alice that I would return the original notes to her, so I have chosen to make this record from the original notes, for the purpose of retaining for myself an accurate copy. I copied these notes and pasted them to genforum from disc and had to make a few adjustments, since genfurum compresses the information toward the left. I have carefully proofread this copy, so that all errors are those that appeared in the typewritten notes prepared by Gene Edward Spiers. Any comment I make within the text will be in brackets. In many places, Gene Spiers covered typos with Xs. Since these typos are still visible under the Xs, I have chosen to include them in brackets near the typos following X:]
