Tom - Thanks for answering! I am descended from Joseph Fry of Ky in this way: Joseph and Susannah had a son Joseph who married Mary Jane Cadle in 1850 in Schuyler Co., Ill.and secondly Susan Trainor in Illinois. Joseph had migrated to Missouri with other family members earlier. He and Mary Jane had a son John Oliver Fry, my great-grandfather. John Oliver and his wife Lucinda Crabill had a son Mark, my grandfather. He and my grandmother Alice Voights had two sons, one was Gerald Dean Fry, my father. The problem I have is that the above Joseph, son of Joseph and Susanna can not be proven as being the correct one! The HFFA have another Joseph as the correct one.
