I know I'm looking for a "needle in a haystack". All I have to go on is using assumptions. I doubt that her birth was recorded in Tennessee and she died one year before death certificates in Alabama(1908). I'm going to assume that her father was enumerated in the 1840 Tennessee census and had not moved to another state. Another asumption made is that she is recorded as a female under the age of 5. This would allow me to eliminate all those households without a female under the age of 5. The next step would be to check those left against the 1850 head of household starting with Tennessee and then going to nearby states such as Georgia, and Alabama. Wish there was some software that would do this for me!
