I have found some death certificates on the Spears family. One happens to be for Lulu G. Spears. Jesse Spears is listed as her husband. I have, also, found a census dated to 1900 where "Jessey" is 33 years old married to "Luley" and kids are popping out of the woodwork. Some of these names I have never heard of but some names I have that are suppose to belong to Jesse isn't even listed as living in the same household.
I have death certificates for a few of his kids, now, but this family is still kind of hard to trace. So far, There are three different women listed as being married to Jesse at one time or another.
Also, when Nona Spears and Chester Walls were married, she was listed as "Elkins" instead of "Spears". I find that a little odd. I also, found a death certificate for Loyd Spears. He died at the age of 9. Father is Sam Spears and Mother is Nona Spears. I can't figure that one out either.
