Looking for info on James A. Spears in Marlboro, SC

My GGGGrandfather was James A. Spears born in 1825 and he died in the Civil War in 1864. His son Benjamin was born in 1850, Benjamin's son was James Oratio Spears born 1875, his daughter Nina Spears is my Grandmother who is 92 and living in NC now.

If anyone has info on my line I would greatly appreciate it. I bought a book on Marlboro County, SC that has James A's death listed and Nathaniel Spears that was the first Spears that settled in Marlboro County. I can not link James A. back to Nathaniel.
