I am working on the Spears line in VA/WV. I believe this family came to VA from Pennsylvania. My ancestor is George Speers/Spears b. VA around 1788-1790; m. Elizabeth Miller 1818 in Cabell County, WV; bought land in Cabell County in 1813.

George Speeers/Spears appears to have had brothers/cousins: James, Paul, John.

I am trying to find George's parents. George's oldest son was named Henry. Could George's father have been Henry Speers/Spears of Pennsylvania, Washington, Fallowfield?
