Hi all,

I am seeking information on both the Spears & Anglin families. I am descended from JOHN CARVER ANGLIN & NANCY LUCINDA SPEARS through their son JAMES K.POLK ANGLIN b. 1851 TN d. 1929 AR. married: abt. 1869 LAURA JANE LIVELY b. TN
d. 1890 AR.

I have this information for John Carver Anglin b.2/16/1818 TN/VA? d. 1904 AR. Son of John Washington Anglin & Elizabeth Carver.
Nancy Lucinda Spears b. 1/2/1819 VA d.11/30/1885 AR. Daughter of John Spears abt.1785 VA & Elizabeth Ann Graves. Marriage date of March 3,1812 VA.

Children of John & Elizabeth Ann(Graves)Spears:
1. female Spears b.?
2. female Spears b.?
3. female Spears b.?
4. John W. Spears b. 8/20/1816 VA
5. Nancy Lucinda Spears b.1/2/1819 VA m.John K.Polk Anglin
6. James Spears b. 1820 VA
7. William Spears b. 1821 VA
8. Willis Spears b. 1823 VA
9. Samuel C. Spears b. 1839 TN

John Spears died after 1850 in possibly Dickson Co.,TN where he appeared on the 1830 census. Not sure of Elizabeth Ann's death date or location possibly same county as husband John. Sorry I don't have more. Would like more information if anyone has more to share.
