I don't find a Rachel Silbey in AL in 1807. She would be listed in the index under her maiden name, if she were there.
There are 4 sons of Gabriel Sibley in AL in the early 1800s:
John A., William, Woodson and Abram H. They have many, many descendants there.
I have been looking for William Hiram Sibley's origin for 35 years. He has a descendant, D.J. Sibley, in Austin. He has had folks looking also. He is very elusive. I have visited with his descendants, but none can identify his parents.
