From "The Sibley Family in America" books by James Scarborough Sibley, Mary Sibley (b 1 Sep 1749) married Symonds Whipple 16 Nov 1769.
Mary's parents were Nathaniel Sibley, b 1725 d 24 May 1811 and Ruth Braddish, b 1722 d 12 Aug 1810 in Sutton Mass. They were married 26 Jun 1744
Mary's siblings were Ruth, Martha, Eunice, Nathan, Stephen, Nathaniel, and Jonas.
Mary's grandfather was Samuel Sibley b 16 May 1697 Sutton Mass d 1730. He married Martha Dike 6 Aug 1722. She was born 1700, d 5 Oct 1775. She was the dau of Anthony Dike
Samuel's father was Joseph Sibley, b 1655 in Salem Mass, d 1718 in Sutton Mass. He married Susanna Follett 4 Feb 1683. Susanna was born 1 Jun 1662 and was the dau of Robert and Persis (Black) Follett.
Joseph's father was John Sibley, b abt 1597 in England, d 1661 in Manchester, Mass. He married Rachel Leach, dau of Lawrence and Elizabeth Leach.
