Hi Debbie..I am Violet Sibley Isaacks in Arkansas, and have taught gen. for some ten years..and am working on all the Sibleys in America..as Col. Jim Scarborouh wrote..my line is included. I did extensive research on George Camplain Sibley, in Kansas City library this eek, for he is a cousin of my 4grgrandfather..Yes. Dr. John Sibley edited the Fayetteville Gazette in Fayettville, n.c. then moved on south and ended in Natchitoches. I have been to his gravesite there, and researched all about him, while there two or three times. My ancestor was ROBERT FLINT SIBLEY son of Isaac Sibley, who died in Savannah Ga. Dr. John was ba. in Mass. as was Isaac and Timothy and Samuel, etc. I have reams on the Sibleys and copies of Aunt Carrie Dillon's letter (wf of Dr. Dillon) She has most of it right, but was ill at the time with the flu and was somewhat confused on names..but a great source. I'll send anything you would like me to copy. Thansk. Violet
