I've actually been looking into this same Sibley line. It makes sense that it is the same Sibley.

One big difference is that he did not marry Rebecca Ann Wall. His son John, Jr. did.

Beyond that, I have not seen any information on his other two marriages, but the children are all his.

If I am to take the dates of his marriages in order and have the correct birth dates for the children then Elizabeth had William and John and Mary White Winslow had Esther, Polly, Jane, and Ann:

William 1786
John, Jr. 1790

Esther 1795
Polly 1796
Jane 1799
Ann 1800

I don't show a George Sibley as a child.

In any event, I would say they are one in the same with the exception of his having married Rebecca Ann Wall.

The information can be looked up through the www.familysearch.org of the LDS site.

Whit
