I'm wondering if someone can help me. My gr-gr-grandfather, clarence b. walker married, or had kids with Augusta Shaw. They are of augusta, georgia. They had 3 kids: Nellie Walker, Augusta(born 1901), and then gertrude. Augusta and gertrude were put in an orphanage at an early age after their father died and their mother split to Palm Beach Florida around 1905. Nellie Walker had married and was living in Atlanta at the time(info not verified). Augusta Walker ended up marrying Hubert O. Sibley (son of henry pickens sibley and Lila Jane?..). Hubert and Augusta moved to Atlanta. Clarence, her father, is believed to be General WHT Walker's son or grandson. So if anyone has any info please post back or email me at celeste8@bellsouth.net.
