Just wondered if anyone has looked into the genealogy of Ralph Sherwin? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ralph_Sherwin
My family of Sherwins come from a village (mackworth) just a few miles from where he was born. According to the IGI there were Sherwins in almost every village in this little area just NW of Derby.
The parish of Longford of which Rodsley (where Ralph Sherwin was born) is part, is packed full of Sherwins. Just wondered if anyone is decended from any Longford Sherwins? or Sherwins from this little corner of Derbyshire (Wyaston, Edlaston, Shirely,Yeaveley, Mackworth, Allestree, Cubley, Boyleston)
