My father, Lisle John Sherwin served in the US Army in England in WWI. I remember lots of stories over dinner about his experiences. Perhaps I can discover from remaining papers where he served if you have the interest. I know that he was a supply sergeant, probably on a supply depot location, possibly foodstuff supply. I know that he liked the townspeople he met.
Perhaps you know of supply depots where he may have served, and we can follow up from there.
