I believe Gabriel Sherard born in North Carolina on April 28, 1793 is my 3rd great grandfather. His parents were John Sherard & Dorthy Holmes Sherard. Their children were Mary C.,Penelope, Ann, Gabriel, Margaret, John Holmes, & Dorothy Holmes Sherard. Gabriel Sherard served in the War of 1812. He is listed on the 1820,1830, & 1840 Census records of Wayne County, North Carolina. I don't know who he was married to, but I think her name was Winifried Howell. If anyone has any information on Gabriel Sherard please email me. Thanks Soni
