You have a long tree to follow. I don't have alot on Barbara (as I have her listed), but her father is listed as Philip Jacob Sheffer b.ca 1720 Germany, possibly 1728, d. 1795 in Frederick Co MD. He came from Germany on the boat 'Two Brothers' September 15th, 1748. Her mother may be named Anna Marie or Ester b. 1742, d. 1806? Barbara had at least 11 siblings, possibly more than 20. Also, I have Christian's last name spelled Routzahn. Siblings include Philip b. Sept 29 1758, Ann Ester b. Jan 1 1767, Catherine b. Nov 1 1771, Apalonia b. 1773, John(Philip) b. Jul 28 1776, Mary Elizabeth b. Jan 25 1777, Henry b. Nov 1 1778, Margaret b. Mar 26 1783, Adam 2nd b. Apr 17 1783, Madalane b. 1785. The birthdates of Margaret and Adam conflict, and there are reports that Philip Jacob may have remarried and fathered many more children. Perhaps the two siblings had different mothers?
