All I know is that John Calhoun Sharpe was
born in NC. Lost leg in battle - Civil War
Served in Co. F, 57th AL Infantry Regiment, CSA
Occupation - split wood room shingles
Buried - Pleasant Hill Church. Located west of Hwy. 49 just north of Troy, AL.
Buried in lot between Elyet Amanda Sharp & Mary E. Phillips, his two wives. I have his father listed as Thomas Sharpe. Known siblings were: Jane, Thomas, Sarah & James.
