Kuntz, Henrich (m.) Schaeffern, Susanna (on) 1783 Nov 12 1783 Balthasar Kuns son (of), Rockingham Co., Georg Schaeffer's daughter, Loudon Co.

We believe this Henry Koontz was born around 1762-3 to Balser Koontz and Catherine. They lived at Brock's Gap, Virginia. Christian Kouns m. Anna Lamp lived there also.
Possible other Koontz relations lived in Tenth Legion, Rockingham Co., VA.
Balthazar/Balser may be the brother of Henry Koontz of Frederick, MD who married Dorothy Federkeil. This is purely speculation at this point. If anyone can help
fill in these Koontz and Shaffer families, please contact me.

Spelling variations:
Koontz, Coontz, Kunse, Kuns, Counse, Kuntz, etc etc
Balser, Palser, Balsun, Polser, Paulson, Paulsir, etc etc.
Please do not confuse this Balser with the other Balser who also married a Catherine. This other Balser was the son of Henry m. Dorothy Federkeil. Our Balser is possibly an uncle to their Balser. They all used the same first names over and over. Makes research difficult but not impossible. Thanks
