Hi Cynthia....
Since I posted my first query on William and Bertha, I found additional information I didn't have. I found an obituary of your father and in it there was listed another son, Robert.
Dorothy married my uncle, Robert Leo ELLIS, "Bud." Bud died in 2001 in California, and was a brother to my father, Donald F. ELLIS. We lost Dad April 17, 1995. Denny (our cousin) died May 7, 2002 in California.
I spent many summers in Shelton with my Aunt Tiz and Grandmother, Lelah ELLIS. When my cousins were there, Vicki, Denny, Betty Jo, and Carole, (children of Dorothy,) I would go to their Grandma Shaffer's house with them.
I was filling in some blanks on my ELLIS tree and found I had very little on Dorothy (Dort) and her family. That's why I posted here. I don't have a lot of information on Dort's children, either, other than their married names: Vicki ELLIS-FOUST; Betty Jo ELLIS-PERRIN; Carole ELLIS-MELTON. I think Carole is divorced.
I still live in Nebraska. Aunt Tiz (Moffett) died Feb. 11, 2005 so there is no one left in Shelton to visit. Dad has one sister still living, Iris, who lives in Sacremeto.
