Hi Carol; I doubt if any information I have will relate to your family, but just in case, thought I would send it to you in case in remembering, you might have your dates mixed up. My Grandfather, Charles Shaffer/Shafer was born in 1869. He had3 brothers, one of whom was Harry. Harry had a daughter named Mae. Mae married a Renn, and I believe her daughters name was Carol. I only met her once. If any of this rings a bell, send me an email.
