I am looking for info on the following:
-Elizabeth Shaffer b. Feb 1727/28 b. Kingston, NY. Married Johann Frederick Gunterman (Countryman)
-Margrietjen Shaffer (also spelled Grietje Scheever) married to Richard Stokes (Ritsert Stoks).
Their surname variations are: Scheever, Shaffer, Scheef, Schever, Sheff, Shieffer, and probably many more.
It is possible that Elizabeth & Margriet are sisters. They are married to members of the Ulster Co Dutch community & Margriet is listed in The Old Dutch Church of Kingston records. But other than that I have no info on either of them.
I would appreciate any help
