Madeline, My Grandfather was George Shadduck, born January,2nd 1886, in Erie County. While visiting the area in 1986 I found a manuscript entitled "The old Westleyville Cemetary and the people buried there" which had been written by Richard S. Cheney and presented to the Westleyville, PA Borough Office in 1983 for addition to the borough records. Mr. Cheney died a short time later. I have been told he had spent several years researching the history and one of the families is the "Shadduck Family". His manuscript devotes 50 pages to the Shadduck geneology and references. I photo copied all 50 pages.
