My Shaduck line isn't from Joseph, although I must admit the connection to Lowville is verrry interesting. We believe Catharine (b. 1808 in NY) may be somehow related (perhaps even daughter) of Thomas Shadduck III and wife Maria Osterhoust (mainly because of female naming patterns, which is kind of an offbeat idea). What I'm really curious about, now, is how Joseph is related to Thomas? Do you know Joseph's ancestry?
