I just checked USGenWeb for Indiana marriages to 1850 but didn't find proof of connection. The John A. SELBY that m. Julia WOOD in Rush Co., 30 Jan. 1831, was from John & Ann of the Wm. Atkinson SELBY line. There are two Georges married in 1840 & 1842, Adams & Lawrence Cos. There were five Johns. John O. & John O. M. have been identified. There were marriages for four Jameses, two in Hamilton, and two in Rush Co., IN.

Some of the Indiana 1850 Censuses are online, but for Rush Co., there's only an index with the pages for SELBY (no individual names).

The 1880 Census has Harrison of the Wm. Atk. SELBY line still of Rush Co., IN.
