The Thomas Johnson you list in that post was my great-grandfather. His full name was Thomas Kingsbury (or Kingsberry) Johnson. His birth and that of his two brothers who died in infancy are recorded in a family bible that my father used to have and which my grandfather was given by a cousin. We have copies of the pages with the family data. Thomas K. Johnson went by "TK Johnson." His mother, Elizabeth Mossburgh, died when he was very young. She was only about 25 years old. His father, Luther S. Johnson, remarried, to Lovisa Cole Horton. Luther moved sometime in the 1890s to the Wallowa Valley in NE Oregon. My grandfather moved out there in the early 1900s, first staying with Luther S. Johnson, his grandfather, and then TK Johnson, the one mentioned in your post (presumably from a list of heirs from Daniel's will?) moved out to Wallowa OR a few years later.
