Greetings from a MICHAEL SEARLES in Australia.
I am middle aged and have lived all my life in the southern Australian state of Victoria. My grandfather GEORGE SEARLES migrated in the 1920's with his cousin (no name available) from Spain to Australia via. the United States of America.
GEORGE SEARLES was born in Madrid, Spain. At age eighteen he and his cousin headed first to the States. After two years in the States he travelled alone to Australia where he married, raised a family, worked and eventually passed away in 1960. If you are interested in knowing more about this family with the SEARLES surname then please feel free to post your public response and/or e-mail me directly.
