Marriage Notice found in, "Abs. vital records in Raleigh, NC Newspapers, 1799-1819", at New Hanover Public Library, Wilmignton, NC. Source provided by Gene Peterson. Notice: Married 24 Nov 1809 at res of John G. SCULL, Mr. N. WILLIAMS, merchant of Wilmington, to Miss Jane SCULL.

Jane SCULL was the daugther of John Gambier SCULL. Jane and Nathan WILLIAMS were listed in the 1850 Census in the Northwest Dist. of Brunswick Co., NC.

This publication should clear up the fact that it was Nathan WILLIAMS not a Nathan WILLIAMSON that married Jane SCULL.

SEEKING more information on Nathan WILLIAMS and siblings of Jane SCULL.
