Hi, Roberta,

At this point, I am operating on an assumption. In the same 1850 census, on the same street, there appears Charles Scull at age 23 (my direct ancestor), with his wife Sarah, and their first two sons, Nicholas and William. Note the first born son's name 'Nicholas'...perhaps after the aforementioned Nicholas at age 63, who might be the father of Charles. To further enhance the assumption, in the 1850 census, Nicholas is listed as a 'sawyour', and in the 1860 census, Charles is listed as a 'sawyer'.

I haven't found anything more so far. I haven't yet found Nicholas and Mary in any subsequent census, nor do I have any info on other children.

Thank you for your response...Bruce
