Allan Womble Scheffer (b.~27May1848 Lumpkin,Stewart Co,GA- d.15Jun1924 Clayton,Barbour Co,AL) married Harriet E Young (b.25Feb1848 Barbour Co,Al-d. 26Nov1910 Barbour Co,AL). They had 3 known children: Reuben Calude (b.7Jan1871 Clayton,AL-d.31Oct1925 Florala,AL), Cornelia M, Calvin Clifford (b.27Apr1880 Barbour Co,Al-1954). Allan appears in 1870 Clayton,Barbour Co,AL Census p.161, 1880 Bt.3,Barbour Co,Al Census ED14 p.18 and 1900 Clayton,Barbour Co,AL Census ED13 p.13a.
