Attempting to locate info on a John Schaffer, also spelled Shaffer, b. abt 1842 and died in 1912, a baker living on Quarry St.,Mt Pleasant, Westmoreland Co., Pa. After my G/G/F died in England my G/G/M came to the USA and in about 1890 married a John McIntyre and lived in East Huntington T/S, Westmoreland Co., Pa. John McIntyre died in 1900 and in 1906 Esther Colmer, McIntyre married the above John Schaffer. In Schaffer's 1912 will, Esther was to have use of the family home on Quarry St. until she died. John had children to a prior union and listed were John, Farnk and Otto. Would like to know what happened to Esther. Pa. Vital Records has nothing on her death! Thanks,
