Looking for information about Gustav Schaffer married to Bridget Flannery, lived in St. Louis. They were my great great grandparents. Had son Joseph married to Mary E. ??, had son James A. Schaeffer, my grandfather. Joseph died when he was only 27 years old, leaving James 8 1/2 months old. I've finally gone back to great great grandparents, but I want more. Bridget Flannery came over from Ireland. Gustav was born in Missouri but his parents (unknown) came here from Germany. Gustav died before 1890, when and how I don't know. He seems to be missing from the family plot at Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis. HELP!! PAT
