I'm looking for information on Heinrich Schaffer and wife Veronica Schaffer who came to the U.S. via Port of New York 28 Aug 1857 from Bremen, Germany aboard SS President Smidt. Ship roster lists Heinrich age 28 as farmer. Traveling with Veronica Schaffer age 25. Destination Cincinnati. They are on the 1860 U.S. census in Kenton County Kentucky with son Henry who was born in 1858. I believe Heinrich's father was Joseph Schaffer of Loewen, Kreis Warburg, Bezirk Minden, Prussia, Germany.
