NOT my family -- but nonetheless, 1900 Census for Dover Twp., Fulton Co., OH, says Cornelius and Mary "Shaffer" were married 25 years (ca. 1875), bore NO children, had no living children. So, I would say the answer to your query is "NO -- they had no children." Cornelius was b. April 1856 in OH, and Mary was b. June 1856 in OH. Both of Cornelius' parents were b. in PA, and both of Mary's parents were b. in NY, so I would say this is the right couple. Good luck to you.
