My ggrandfather was Samuel Schaeffer, born in PA and living in Schulkille County, PA. He married Ellen Purcell and had 11 children; William, Harry, Samuel Jr, Louis, Raymond, Charles, Thomas, Emma, Clara, Bertha, and Walter (my grandfather). Walter changed the spelling to Sheafer when he went into the military. Any and all help appreciated as I am just starting.
