Hi! I'm trying to find info on my Schaeffler / Schaeffer family. They came from Germany...looking for descendents of there children and trying to find parents and siblings of my great grandparents....Thank you for any help anyone could give me!
Here's what I have:
Carl / Karl / Charles Schaeffler born on 3-16-1875 in Germany, died on 1-19-1924 in Philadelphia., Pa. - married in 1897 Magdeline Foell born on 10-5-1876 in Alsace Lorraine, Germany, died on 11-19-1941 in Philadelphia., Pa. Burial: both at Greenwood Cemetery in Philadelphia,
Pa. Notes: Immigrated in 1895...they were not married when they came over.. Children of Carl & Magdeline (Foell) Schaeffler are:
1. Baby Schaeffler - no other info. Source: In 1900 census
listed only 1 child living out of 2
2. Rose Schaeffler born on 1-1-1898 in Philadelphia, Pa.,
died on 12-14-1952 in Phila, PA. - married William Armitage born on 4-30-1899 PA, died 1983 [assumed ID]
3. Magdeline Schaeffler born in 1902 in Philadelphia, Pa.,
died on 11-25-1946 - married Herman Ewald born on 3-16-1897, died on 9-1962.
4. Annie Schaeffler born on 10-18-1903 in Philadelphia,
Pa., died on 3-25-1951 - married George Mooney born 1889, they got divorced
5. Charles William Schaeffler born on 12-9-1906 in Phila,
Pa., died on 3-19-1944 - married Mabel Martha Schuler born on 2-2-1912 in Pa, died on 6-1987 in Phila., Pa. - I Have his Information already by a descendent
6. Helen Schaeffler born on 3-22-1908 in Phila, Pa., died
on 4-5-1995 in Philadelphia, Pa. - married John Hughes - no dates
7. Marie Mary Schaeffler born on 5-7-1910 in Philadelphia,
Pa., died on 7-24-1976 in Philadelphia., Pa. - married on 12-8-1928 to Joseph Terrence Christopher Beckett - aka - Joe born on 7-25-1905 in Philadelphia., Pa., died on 10-3-1973 in Philadelphia., Pa. - dropped the Terrence in his name, son of Terrence Joseph & Catherine (Holmes)
Beckett. - Have all her Information already, my grandmother
8. Catherine Schaeffler born abt. 1915 in Phila., Pa. died
abt. 1927 in Phila, Pa.
9. Harry Schaeffler born on 11-2-1916 in Phila., Pa., died
