I don't want to intrude, but I have a Schaeffer family from Middleport, which is close to Orwigsburg.
I have a Abraham Schaeffer spelling varies greatly.
born Feb 1813 in Pa.
I find him in Middleport, in 1850 census.
then in 1860. He died in 1867 and is buried in the Welsh German cemmie in Middleport.
I also have a Edward Schaeffer born 1822 in Middleport.
We are looking to find parents and siblings of both.
Possible brother to either one is a David Schaeffer who was located in St Clair..
