Hello. I am researching a line of Schaeffers in RI. In Wakefield, So. Kingstown, RI there is a small Schaeffer cemetery, with a Schaeffer street, and a George Schaeffer street in close proximity. Through word of mouth I have learned that the family was from Pennsylvania, Ohio, possibly Mississippi, and originally Germany.

There are also several stones with only initials and years:

My father tells a story of two Schaeffer brothers who came to the Mississippi river, and one headed east, one headed west.
