I am searching for info on my great,great grandmother's family. She was Ernestine Charlott Schaefer Basler, born May 28th, 1840. She was from Hanover Germany & came to Canada, marrying August Basler in the spring of 1861 in Mitchell, Ontario. They lived briefly in Marquett Michigan from 1871 - 1873. Ernestine had a brother Henry Schaefer who was married to Sophey and they lived in Crookston.
I am looking for info on the Schaefer's. I would like to know when and how Ernestine came to Canada and about any siblings she had, etc. If any of this matches your family, I would like to hear from you and compare notes.
